Mr. A’s Nature, Forest, Woodland Cake Smash Photos :: North Andover MA Photographer

If you’ve been around my blog or social media, you’ll probably already know that I love celebrating first birthdays. And when that celebration includes a themed cake smash session? Yes Please!! And this little man’s cake smash is no exception. For Mr. A’s first birthday photos, his parents decided to go with a forest woodland cake smash. To set the scene we started with the linen tent, faux pine trees, and big stump added the perfect backdrop. Add in his birch tree birthday cake and you had the perfect woodland set. This is definitely one of my favorite vibes when it comes to cake smash pictures. And I think it’s safe to say we absolutely crushed it.

My staff and I are definitely not the only ones who crushed this forest woodland cake smash session. Mr. A absolutely did as well. He gave me the most fantastic and adorable smiles. He hugged his teddy bear and played with toys. And when the time came for his super cute birthday cake, he SMASHED that cake! That little finger point he did while eating the cake is something else, too. It sounds crazy to us adults, but you really never know how a one year old will like the cake. For so many of them, it’s their first cake experience so they don’t have the same overwhelming need to dig right in that many of us (me included) would have. Sometimes we even have to hide some puffs or cheerios to get them grabbing the cake! So getting these sweet reactions is definitely something I love.
