Glamorous Maternity Photos :: Lowell MA Photographer
Before every baby comes a bump. And man, oh man, do I love photographing those bumps! Maternity sessions truly are some of my favorite to photograph. Whether they’re glamorous in studio portraits, or more casual outdoor photos. Either way, maternity photos like the ones for this Lowell MA couple, are always a favorite for me. Maybe it’s my past life as a wedding portrait photographer. Maybe it’s because I’m a mother. But maternity sessions are full of so much love, excitement, wonder, hope, and just a tiny bit of anxiety. I love helping families like this one celebrate all of those emotions and so much more.
Another thing I love about maternity photos is being able to work with clients to customize them. Whether it’s helping them choose the perfect maternity gown (I have a huge collection in my studio), or helping coordinate other outfits. Or maybe it’s finding the perfect outdoor location or set design. And sometimes, that means incorporating special props. In this case, we included a sonogram, a sweet little baby tutu, and a beautiful necklace. It was the year of the tiger, so the necklace was a gorgeous nod to that. These sessions are all about making mama feel beautiful, and creating equally gorgeous keepsakes to keep forever.
