Beach Family Pics for the Y Fam :: Newburyport MA Photographer
The first time I photographed the Y family, big sister was only 18 months old! It is so insane to me to look at these photographs now and really take into consideration just how much time has gone by since then. I am always so grateful for my job, but thinking about things like this makes me even more thankful that I get to do what I do. I met up with the Y family for pics at the beach. And there really is something so magical about being at the beach. It’s currently a cold February day as I write this, and I cannot wait for the summer days when I get back to the beach.
Fall is my most popular time of year for outdoor family portraits. Between the fall foliage and the slightly cooler temperatures. But over the past few years summer beach sessions have become super popular for family pics. And looking at these portraits, it is so easy to see why. The beach and sunset backdrop is such a gorgeous setting. Which can make it easy to choose clothing options. I love how this family stuck with white tops for a nice cohesive effect. Mom and dad in dark jeans, big sis in a beautiful sage green, and little brother in khaki made a perfect accompaniment. I love that they kept it simple when it came to styling–such great inspiration!
