Mr. A’s Festive Winter Cake Smash :: Peabody MA Photographer
I have been photographing these two little dudes from Peabody since big bro was in his mama’s belly! I have photographed both maternity sessions, both newborn sessions, both one year sessions and a few seasonal mini sessions in between. Getting to watch these two boys grow is so much fun! For big bro’s cake smash there was a special guest: the family’s cat! Over the years I’ve had numerous doggies in the studio. But I’m pretty sure this was my first cat. Festive Cake Smash Inspiration
This family wanted a festive winter spin to this cake smash session. And I really love how it came out. It was a little bit rustic, a little bit sparkly. And 100% winter. I’ve had plenty of winter themed cake smash sessions for girls. So I was so happy this family wanted to have a winter themed shoot for their little boy–boys should get in on the winter cake smash fun, too! The festive fun started in a subtle way with the family portraits since both boys were in red. This is a great way to get a slight festive touch without going too overboard. But once it was time for the cake smash it was a winter wonderland. Glittery snowflakes adorned the wall. Snow kissed pine branches on the floor behind Mr. A. A cake as white as snow. Pinecones scattered throughout. This is the perfect way to have a timeless winter cake smash!
