Lynn Maternity Photographer :: Mama C
This fun (and might I add stunning) couple came to the studio from Lynn to celebrate mama’s pregnancy by capturing her maternity photos. I love getting the chance to help parents like these capture this amazing and evolving time in their lives. And these two have double to reason to celebrate because they’re having TWINS! As a twin mama myself, I always feel an added connection to parents joining the twin club. You’re in for a wild and crazy and AMAZING ride, Mama C! But Dad already knows this, he’s an identical twin himself. This couple is having identical twin girls and one parent is an identical twin. Mind BLOWN. I looked it up and the chances of having identical twins is 0.45%. To have lightening strike like that twice is astounding and I feel lucky to be their maternity photographer. I also get to meet the little ladies when they arrive too!
Styling Choices for these Lynn Pregnancy Portraits
This mom was incredible and had that gorgeous pregnancy glow. For her portraits, we went for a glam look. This pink maternity gowns is one of my favorites from my collection (by Sew Whimsey). And pink seemed especially fitting since she’s expecting two little ladies. That super long, flowing train is a favorite and always a crowd-pleaser, too. For another look, we decided on the white gown with attached cape. She looks like a Greek goddess to me. Especially in front of the white curtain backdrop, this look has such an ethereal feel to it that I love. But of course, simplicity is always a winner too. Black dress, black top, or nude are always fantastic, timeless options.
Mom and dad also brought along these little sneakers and a sonogram to include which I love! I always encourage families to bring along sentimental props to incorporate into your photos.
Why I Love Being a Maternity Photographer
I love every milestone that I photograph. There is something special about maternity photos, however. There’s so much joy and excitement, anticipation and a little nervousness. Before I was a mom myself, I didn’t fully understand how all the emotions could combine to create such a unique of their lives for these moms and dads. And I know as parents we hear it all the time, but these times go by so fast. Nine months might seem like a long time, but it flies by. Before you know it, you’re exhausted with a tiny baby (or two!) in your arms. And it’ll seem unreal that once upon a time those little babies were inside your belly. Capturing these memories is so important!
