Miss A’s Nashua NH Newborn Photos
Miss A came to my studio from nearby Nashua NH for her newborn photos. This was my first time meeting Miss A, but I had previously met her parents and older brother. I photographed her big brother for his newborn, 6 month, and 1 year cake smash photos for his first year milestone package. I had also photographed him again at 2 years and again for his 3 year photos. One of the best things about these milestone packages is that I get to watch these adorable little ones grow. There is something extra special about getting to see the tiny newborns I once photographed become big siblings. Getting to photograph baby number 2 (and 3 and 4 for some families) is just one of the many aspects of my job that I am so grateful for. And how adorable does big bro look peering down at his new baby sis?
Newborn portrait sessions are some of my favorites. Meeting these tiny, adorable babies is one of the reasons. But it goes beyond that for me. I love being able to capture these fleeting moments for parents and give them a beautiful keepsake that will last generations. I also love getting to take this opportunity to give parents a few hours of peace, which is why I do everything I can to make these sessions as stress-free as possible. Details from this Nashua Newborn Portrait Session
Before any portrait session, I send the parents a questionnaire to fill out. This means that while my assistant and I are setting up for the session, we can pull out props, blankets, swaddles and accessories that I think parents will like for their little one’s portraits. This questionnaire includes a section to choose which colors you would most like to incorporate. In this case, mama chose pink. I incorporated soft shades of pink throughout the session in different ways. I love the way the soft pink adds just the slightest pop of color against the white fur and and cream wrap in this first set up. Soft and sweet newborn hats are also a great way to add color to an otherwise neutral set. And thankfully, I have a giant assortment of hats and headbands for parents to use during their sessions.
Are you looking for newborn accessories of your own? I have to say, Etsy is my favorite place to find the best hats, headbands, tutus, and other accessories.
