Best Children’s Photographer North Shore :: Twins C and B
As a children’s photographer I have a soft spot for twins. Which makes sense, since I have twins of my own! So when I heard about this set of twins celebrating their first birthday, I was thrilled. They came to my studio in the North Shore for their first birthday and cake smash photos.
Before the fun (and the mess) I grabbed some family portraits. I love the family photos with C and B flying in the air. Especially how Miss C looks at her brother while they’re in the air. And, of course, some portraits of the stars of the show. They were great but I still broke out my secret weapon: bubbles. Not only do they make for some of the best photos, but children love them. Mom had the idea for the big, giant balloons. I love the way those photos turned out. Let’s hope that the helium shortage is figured out so that I can use these again!
Styling For These North Shore One Year Portraits
One of my favorite things about this session is the styling of it. Both C and B had a few different wardrobe changes throughout the session. But even with changing outfits, the overall styling of the shoot stayed classic and timeless. The color scheme was kept on the neutral side. Miss C had some light pink on her family portraits dress. A tiny touch of gold in the skirt of her other dress added just the right amount of sparkle. And as for Mr. B, who doesn’t love a little guy in a bow tie?
For the actual cake smash portion of the photo shoot, the color choices switched from neutral and classic to colorful. Which is perfect. Because cake smashes are all about having fun. And nothing says fun quite like a fluffy tutu.
Crafting A Custom Album Of Your Photos
There are numerous parts to any photography session. First comes the planning stage. During this stage, we determine if there are any must have photos, props, or sets that you want. We can also discuss colors, themes, and outfit choices. One of the benefits to figuring all of this out beforehand is that it allows us to jump straight into taking the portraits. It also helps to plan ahead because it allows you to consider the style that you want. If you know that some of these photos are going to be displayed in your home, we can work together to make sure that the color schemes of the photos are going to match your decor.
The second stage is the actual photo shoot. And then once the session is over there’s one more stage, determining what to do with your photos. Technology has made it so easy to share photos digitally, which is great. But nothing can beat being able to have a physical print, canvas, or photo album in your hands or on your walls.
For many people, the idea of choosing images to hang on their walls can be daunting for many reasons. You might have a lack of space, or maybe you know you’ll be moving in the near future and you don’t know what wall space you will have. Or maybe you have too many photos you love and can’t narrow it down. Well, we have a solution for that: a fine art album! Our albums are fully customizable, and we help you throughout the process to choose which photos to use and where. The thick, padded covers of the albums make them durable. The flat laid pages make it so no part of your image is lost in the crease. Available in matte or lustre finish, these albums suit anyone’s taste.
