Best Newborn Photography in Boston :: Little Guy A

Mr. A and his parents came to my studio from nearby Boston for his newborn photos. He was sweet and adorable. Look down below to see the tiniest trace of a smile while he was cozy in his mama’s arms. He even gave us a glimpse of his eyes while dad held him. These are the little things you can’t plan for in a newborn session, but they make it just a little bit more magical!

Newborn Photos Styling Ideas

Before any photo session I send the parents a questionnaire so that I can get a better idea of what styles they like. This includes colors, props, poses, and even keywords to describe their aesthetic. Because when it comes to photoshoots, especially newborn sessions, there are a ton of different choices. And everyone has different preferences.

For this session, I was able to include a variety of looks. The plane prop is one of my favorites, especially with this super adorable knit aviator hat. The wooden bowl that Mr. A is cozy in is a great choice for a simple prop, and one that I use frequently. It’s a great prop because depending on what I use to fill it, whether it’s a fur or a knit blanket, it can match just about any color scheme or theme.

As far as colors go, they were kept mostly neutral, with a good amount of whites, grays, and tans. But light blue and dark green wraps added the perfect touch of color. Wraps are an excellent way to add just a little color to an otherwise neutral set up.
