I first met this glowing mama back when I took her boudoir photos. Can you believe I used to photograph boudoir? It was such an amazing experience. One of the most rewarding aspects of these sessions for me was being able to see the confidence build and grow during the course of one short session. Maternity Photos with Older Siblings

This little lady was born around the same time my girls were born so I wasn’t able to photograph her as a newborn. This made getting to take these portraits pretty exciting. And getting to photograph the new baby when he arrived was even more exciting. Little miss was such a great model that I made sure I grabbed a few photos of her by herself. I think it’s safe to say she loved the tutu!

Including soon to be older siblings in maternity photos is always a great idea. I get asked about it pretty frequently and ultimately the decision is totally up to the parents. But I always say yes, bring them along. For one thing, I’m able to capture some pretty amazing pictures (mom and daughter in matching tutus, yes please!). But it’s also a great way to get the big sibling involved.
