North of Boston, MA New Baby Photographer :: Miss L

Sweet Miss L and her parents from north of Boston, MA came to my studio for her newborn baby photograph session. And, boy, was she the sweetest! We started off her session with some portraits with her parents. I like to start off with photos of parents and baby to make sure that everyone involved is comfortable, and this is a great way to ease baby (and parents!) into the session. Miss L got lots of kisses from mama and daddy, which did give me the tiniest glimpse of her eyes. But then, it was all about her. She was super sleepy and curled up into the perfect little newborn ball. But one of the best catches from this whole session is the most adorable little yawn. There is something about a baby yawning that’s equal parts precious and hilarious.

Newborn Photo Color Choices and Ideas

For Miss L’s newborn session the colors were kept light and simple. I used primarily white with pops of pink, lilac, and gray. This is such a great color scheme. It’s clean, feminine, and sweet. Different fabrics were used to create variety with all the white. I love using this white lace. There is something so precious about a sleeping baby on a piece of lace. Everything about this session is pretty and perfect for this little princess.

There was one special prop that mom and dad wanted used for Miss L’s newborn session. Leaning against the wooden box Miss L is sleeping soundly on is a Park Ranger badge. Special touches like this always take a newborn session from great to perfect.
