I first met this beautiful Waltham baby girl at her 100 day celebration portraits. I immediately wanted to keep her, I must admit! She has the best and quickest smile. Especially when she is in Mommy or Daddy’s arms. For her eight month portraits, she wasn’t much different. In size and looks, she had grown a ton! But in quick and huge smiles she remained the same and as freely giving of them as long as she was with her Mom, Dad or Grandparents. She had a bit of stranger danger when put on her own. After eight years of practice I certainly have a few tricks up my sleeve for when this happens.
When your baby has a bit of stranger danger in my studio, I simply remain calm, sing a lot if necessary, give her plenty of space if she wants it, and cuddles from Mom if she needs it! The photos of her in the bunny outfit (this belongs to the studio and is available for sitter sessions) are some of my favorites! I also love the really close up shots of her face. These are done for just about every single newborn but not always necessarily for older babies. After seeing how great these turned out, they just might find their way in to more baby galleries!
