Love. That is really what family is all about. Love. This brand new family of three exudes love in their portraits! This first one takes my breath away every time I see it. Mama is glowing with her two best guys surrounding her. Perhaps it comes from a very personal place, being a Mom (!) and clearly the photographer in the family, I’m less likely to be featured in the photos. That is why I do make it a priority to get professional photos with my girls.

I tell clients this all the time and it is no less true for me- the photos you are taking are for you, yes. But they are also for generations and generations to come. Just last week my Dad and I were looking through an album of ancestors 3 generations back. What a miraculous thing.
