This Melrose newborn baby girl was in my studio a year ago. These particular photos are blowing my mind because I *just* delivered her one year portraits to her parents this week. I’m not entirely sure where the year went. That is such a common phrase for adults to say. We are often dumbfounded by how fast time flies. We are all so busy. Taking time get custom portraits done is one small way to slow down time a bit. A way to look back to when she was oh so itty-bitty. Truly all you have to do is look at a baby’s newborn portraits, then her 1 year portraits side by side. A whole heck-of-a lot happens in one year! Every single day a baby grows and changes in some way that first year.

I loved this newborn photo shoot because we got to get some autumn themed shots in as well as Christmas / holiday themed portraits for her parents. I also loved this session because I loved getting to know her super nice parents and snuggling with her!
