In baby photography, there is nothing more classic than a black and white photo of a baby in a diaper.  I think 6 months is the perfect milestone age.  There’s just something so baby about six months. Agree with me or not, you can’t argue with how adorable Baby W is in his diaper!  Baby W’s parents are baby plan clients which means I got to meet him 6 months before at his newborn session and I get to see him again in another 6 months for his 1 year birthday session!

Babies can have their moments. After all, they’re babies. They’re growing, they’re teething, they can’t tell us they’re hungry, tired or have a full diaper.  Being called a baby is not an insult to a middle schooler for no reason. Babies can be unpredictable … happy one second, cranky the next.  This is totally normal, I’ve seen it all.  It’s my job to be able to capture moments in the middle of the chaos.  Baby W was not feeling it on this particular day.  I can’t blame him. I try to put myself in my clients (teeny tiny) shoes, “would I be psyched to be here right now while I feel like this”!?  We still managed to get some really, in my opinion, A-dorable smiley shots!  I got to see Wes again last week for a Christmas themed session and I am in love with this child. Happy, cranky – he’s amazing to photograph and I feel lucky to have him as a year long subject!
