Half of April 2011 is officially over. I don’t remember when it started!  March was an incredibly busy month around Crabapple Studios.  I have so many fabulous photo sessions to share with you and I’m going to try my hardest over the next couple of weeks to get them blogged. Starting with this particular favorite of mine- baby Wes’s newborn portraits!

In an ideal world, a newborn baby (ideally 5 – 10 days) will come to the studio and fall fasssstttt asleep. He will stay asleep long enough for us to pose him in adorable ways and get newborn portraits Mom, Dad and the whole family will cherish for years. However, it doesn’t always work out that way. Enter Wes: eyes wide open, curious and not so sleepy!  The session turned out fabulous anyway as Mom had brought some particularly adorable outfits. You really need to scroll all the way to the bottom to see a real gem!  We rolled with the punches while Wes gave us some adorable shots.  There were so many it was difficult to pick for this blog post!  In the end, we did tire him out (in combination with some Mom cuddling!) and got some sleepy squeal-worthy shots.
