There is really only one way to celebrate your first birthday in style. And that’s by having a cake smashing photo session with Crabapple Photography!  Picture it- it may be your first experience with sugar. Or maybe you just had your first taste at your family birthday party. Either way, this is your opportunity to go hog wild on that cake!  Clothing is optional, hats are adorable.

Meet little Christopher.  Back in November, he partook in a first birthday cake smashing session and here are the photos to prove it!  Christopher is one lucky little boy. Well, for many reasons, including his adorable mug, but also his family owns and operates Bouncin’ Party Rentals, located in Plymouth, MA.  He has access to inflatable moonbounces, dry slides, water slides and the list goes on!  Although we were unable to fit an inflatable playground in the studio (!) this time around, we were able to take advantage of his access to seemingly a billion balloons.  Check out Christopher below, in a sea of balloons, and a “Fun to Be 1” hat, nibbling at his cake:

When you have a cake in front of you, about 1/2 the size of your body mass, it’s hard not to get it all over you. Notice his tiny toes (L):
