Last Christmas of the decade, first Christmas in Washington DC with my soon-to-be husband’s family — and I forget to blog about it for 2 months. Better late than never as they say!
It was so awesome to have a tiny one around for Christmas, it’s been awhile. At just over one year, Cameron, aka “Lil C” isn’t completely vetted into the Christmas process. But who doesn’t love big boxes wrapped in flashy colors!? Then you get to tear the paper off!? And what’s this? A baby tool set complete with soft cushy drill, hammer and nails!? He did pretty well for himself, and even managed to stay awake for Christmas dinner (2nd to last photo). You can follow Lil C’s adventures and tips from Mom at MommyFTW.com.

See the photo above? It’s shockingly reminiscent (I’m being a little dramatic, what of it?) of a photo I took of Lil C and Mom Betsy in the pool during a visit to DC last September. I did blog a few baby and family photos from that trip. I gave a print of the photo in question as a gift to Mom Betsy. I found it hilarious and somewhat touching to watch Cameron try to hold it. I hope he’s a fan!
