Merrimac, MA Outdoor Newborn Photos

I met with Miss E and her family from Merrimac, MA for her newborn photos on a sunny day last summer. Not only was she an adorable model, but so was her big brother. It was not too long ago I was photographing him as a wee newborn! He gave me the best smiles when he was with his new baby sister! And he even gave her a sweet little kiss. I love being able to capture the love between new siblings.

About this Session

Outdoor photo shoots are always a fun change, but they definitely come with their own set of challenges. Being unable to have complete control over the environment can be tricky. For this newborn session everything came together perfectly to make for whimsical and nature-filled newborn photos. Since the backdrop was already determined for us, we kept Miss E in neutral colors and allowed nature to be the pop of color. The lush green all around was the perfect color. I did manage to get a little more color into a few shots, courtesy of some butterflies. These butterflies added just the right touch and made Miss E look straight out of a fairy tale.
