There’s something extra special about celebrating the holidays with cousins. This classic Christmas portraits session was full of laughter, sparkle, and timeless holiday style. Truly a perfect example of how classic Christmas portraits never go out of style. And this session was made extra special when we celebrated a Christmas first birthday with a cake smash. Classic Christmas Portraits for Two Cousins

Big cousin Miss L, age five, started the session in a cozy red sweater and tutu skirt. It was the perfect mix of festive and playful. She later changed into a beautiful red plaid dress with a white skirt, bringing an elegant, traditional holiday touch. Little cousin Mr. L, just one year old, looked adorable in his green sweater and khakis, complementing her outfit beautifully.

Together, the two cousins shared sweet smiles, giggles, and hugs on our festive studio set. These cousin Christmas photos truly captured the joy and magic of the season. Plus, they made for memories their families will treasure for years to come.

A Christmas First Birthday Cake Smash

After the traditional portraits, we ended the session with a fun twist. A Christmas first birthday celebration! Baby Mr. L changed into the cutest little Santa costume for his holiday cake smash, complete with a festive cake topped with gingerbread cookies.

He had the best time exploring the frosting, tasting a few bites, and giving us plenty of joyful, messy smiles. The same cozy holiday backdrop gave the cake smash a seamless, storybook feel. It was such a sweet way to mark both the holiday season and this milestone birthday.
