There’s nothing quite like capturing family memories against the backdrop of the ocean. This family and sibling portrait session by the sea featured a sweet Reading, MA family. They joined me on the North Shore of Massachusetts for an evening beach session in late September. Between sandy toes, playful giggles, and tender sibling moments, their portraits beautifully showcase both the joy and connection of this season in their lives. Summer Sun and Clouds for Family Photography at the Beach
This wasn’t my first time photographing this family of four. I had previously photographed them for other family photos and milestone sessions. Needless to say, I was so happy to meet up again during the summer on the beach. They day was a bit cloudy and overcast, which could lead some people to worry. But I think the way that the clouds create such soft, diffused light turned out stunning. We chose a scenic spot along the North Shore where the soft, overcast light created perfect conditions for capturing natural, candid moments.
They were relaxed and full of genuine laughter as they played together by the shoreline. We created timeless images that beautifully showcase their love and connection.
