Mr. C’s Newborn Portraits :: Reading MA Photographer

Every newborn session is special for me. But I would be lying if I said there wasn’t something EXTRA special when I get the chance to photograph the newest arrival to one of my existing client families. I had previously photographed Mr. C’s big sister Miss C in 2018, and then middle sister Miss A in 2020. Not only did I get to meet Mr. C, but I also got to catch up with his parents. Plus getting to see how big Miss C and Miss A had gotten was so much fun. And now, almost two years later, I get to look back at these photos and reminisce.
I love when I get to photograph new siblings for many reasons. One of the reasons is that it gives me the chance to create a cohesive look between sessions. It’s important to make each session stand out in its own way. But it’s also nice to have a similar feel to the sessions. I like to imagine how the photos will look all hung on a wall together. In this case, Mr. C’s newborn portraits were super classic and timeless. Gray furs, chunky knits, and neutrals in the family photos. But the fun aviator knit hat, and truly adorable little pajama look while laying in the wooden bed, add the perfect whimsical touch to the photos. The best of both worlds! And as always, the sibling photos have my whole heart.
