This little lady from Reading MA was 5 weeks old during her baby photos. While five weeks might seem not that far off from the newborn stage, there are some definite differences. Each baby is different, but at this stage there are typically more periods of being awake than there are for newborns. This means that getting the same amount of sleeping baby photos isn’t always possible. But as long as parents are flexible and don’t have their heart set on specific props and poses, 5 weeks is a great time to get new baby portraits!

5 week old baby photographer — Since at 5 weeks babies are typically more alert than during the first 6-16 days (the age of most newborn sessions) that means getting photos of their wide open eyes!
