Amesbury MA Newborn Photographer :: Mr. L

This sweet little man (I use the word little, lightly–he was 10 pounds and just over two weeks) and his family came to my studio from nearby Amesbury MA for his newborn portraits. We started off with family portraits, before focusing on Mr. L. I do this so that everyone–mom and dad, and baby–are comfortable in the studio and with my assistant and myself. Making these newborn portrait sessions a great experience is the most important thing to me. I’ve written a blog post to help parents get the most out of their newborn session. It’s hard to choose a favorite photo from this session, but the first one in this post is definitely in the running. That scrunched up yawning face makes me smile every time I see it. Another photo that’s up there is the sweet sleepy smile down below. Newborn smiles are a rainbow shot–always special when I can see one, and always a little magical.

Including Big Sister in these Amesbury Newborn Photos

Mr. L’s big sister was only 15 months old when she became a big sister! It’s hard to believe she’s already a big sister just after her first birthday. But she rocked her role as big sis for these photos. Fifteen months old isn’t always the easiest age to work with, but my assistant and I are up for the challenge. And she was so sweet, giving her baby brother kisses and giving me big smiles. These two are going to be so close as they grow up, and having these photos of them will be so special.
