Holiday Mini Sessions
Since the holiday season is such a popular time, especially for Christmas card photos, I offer holiday mini sessions. These sessions are shorter than a typical session and last about 15-20 minutes. But don’t worry, we are still able to accomplish a lot in this time. These mini sessions are a great opportunity to get some quick photos of your little ones (and maybe even a quick shot or two of the whole family!) especially for busy families and restless kiddos who don’t want to commit to a full-length session. But, the spots are limited and they tend to fill up fast. Scroll down to see some of the families who took advantage of last year’s mini sessions.

Christmas Card Family Pictures
Getting a chance to meet a lot of families is one of the joys of my job. It’s an extra special treat to see families again and again. During the holiday season I tend to see a lot of “my families” year after year. The first family down below is one of those families and I look forward to seeing them every year. It’s always crazy for me to see how much these little ones are growing. This sister-brother pair is beyond adorable together. I’m pretty obsessed with the photo of big sis holding her baby bro on the little white bed. Matching pajamas are definitely one of the ways to my heart!
The other two sessions in today’s post are special in different ways. While little miss is taking full advantage of my wintry woodland setting (which I’m so excited about, since I’ve envisioned it for years) the color palette is more neutral winter than explicitly holiday themed. The photo of her with her parents is a perfect example of a timeless winter family portrait. The color palette is whites and grays, which are definitely cozy neutrals.
Lastly, these two sisters made an adorable pair, and their dresses were cute and colorful. Sometimes, parents don’t want photos that scream “winter” which is totally fine, too. Seeing the floral dresses is definitely refreshing among all the sweaters and Christmas colors. Plus, these girls are beyond cute. And those curls! I can’t get enough. Of course, they did take advantage of the woodland setting a little. Is there anything more classic than an upside children’s book? I think not!
