Boston Public Gardens Baby Photos with Miss E

I met up with Miss E and her parents at the Boston Public Gardens for her six month photos. Such a lovely family and happy baby! Six months is such a great age, and I always love being able to capture the fun for parents. And when I get to do that in such a pretty setting like the Boston Public Gardens it’s even better! I could go on for hours about why I love these six month sessions. Babies have such personalities, and at six months they really shine. Even in a photograph you can get such a clear idea of a little one’s personality. Not to mention, it’s so fun to see them truly interact. Miss E was so sweet, and these photos show that clearly. She had so much fun getting kisses from mom and dad!

What To Wear For An Outdoor 6 Month Old Photo Session

One of the great things about portraits outside is that there is so much color all around you. In most instances organic and green is a pretty good bet for a backdrop color. But no matter what the setting there is always a variety of color. This can mean a few different things when it comes to choosing what to wear for an outdoor session. Some prefer to wear neutrals, others like to add their own color to their surrounding. For these parents, they did a little of both. Mom and dad both stuck to the neutrals. But for Miss E, the star of the show, it was all about being colorful. Her pretty purple dress contrasted with the green perfectly. She was a pop of color, and your eye is immediately drawn to her. The same is true for her yellow and black dress. This is a great way to keep your little one the center of attention in a photo with a busy, and beautiful, backdrop.
