Crabapple Photography is a Boston Family Newborn Portrait Photographer
Every day I realize how lucky I am to be a Boston family newborn portrait photographer. I know I’m not curing cancer but I do take my job seriously and feel humbled and very lucky when families choose me to document their special moments.
Baby B and his family came from Boston for his newborn portraits. And they brought along their family dog for the ride. I absolutely love the photo of Mr. B sleeping soundly while his protector looks over him. Baby B was so great throughout the session, sleeping through all the posing. But he did peek one little eye open while being held by mom. The addition of the family pet wasn’t the only personal touch in Mr. B’s portraits. Dad is a hockey coach so of course I had to make sure to include a little hockey in the photos. And it turned out great!
Styling for this Newborn Session
As far as a color scheme for this newborn portrait session, I used neutrals and blue. Throughout the session I kept the blue pop of color. Mr. B was either resting on a blue blanket, or swaddled in blue throughout most of the session. The only time I made an exception with the blue was the photo below of baby B with his daddy’s hockey gloves. I love the way the neutral swaddle combined with the personal prop from dad, work together to create a perfect balance.
