Baby C :: Boston Newborn and Family Photographer
My new mantra for when a newborn session should take place is 6-16 days. Sometimes though, parents have no choice but to wait a little longer. Often, parents worry if it’s even past 10 days, but clearly Baby girl C is proof that 5 weeks isn’t too late for newborn portraits! Baby C rocked the sleeping baby poses, and let us see her bright, beautiful eyes. And, I’m absolutely obsessed with the dangling arm in the shot with dad.
About This Session:
The soft pink of baby C’s blanket against the dark gray makes such a stunning color combination, as does her purple bonnet against the white bed. These little color details are what can take a portrait from pretty to gorgeous. We added a few props, a little stuffed bunny with matching bunny hat, to add just the right amount of whimsy to Baby C’s classic and timeless newborn session. Mom really wanted this shot of Baby C in the pram, and I will admit I was a little skeptical if it was going to happen. But Baby C nailed it!
