Ah, newborn baby smiles. They are not unlike a rainbow, which are hard to come by. The first portrait in this blog post of this brand new baby girl from Wellesley, melts my heart in to oblivion. Just when I think I can’t take any more, the second photo of her snuggling a tiny knit bunny has a similar effect! She and her family found their way to my studio this past fall. I am so glad they did!
I like to try to incorporate a bit of the season of the baby’s birth date. She was born in the fall so the deep mustard headband in the portrait below seemed fitting. Especially with the deep purple blanket she’s snuggled up to, sleeping on. Then again, there is never a bad time for deep purple, in my book!
Sometimes I laugh at myself documenting baby’s toes all the time. However, these are the details we forget! The lashes, lips, feet and little hands. They change so much over time (to the point no one wants a close up, macro shot of my feet, ha!). But these tiny little piggy toes are definitely worth capturing and remembering.
