I’d like to wish a very happy first birthday to this sweetheart. Baby E is such a happy one year old baby girl! I’ve been lucky enough to capture a few of her milestones along the way this first year starting with her Mama’s maternity session.

For the big (cake) smash portion of her portrait session, her Mom wanted to do a fall theme. I’ve been loving styling cake smashes against the darker wood lately. I found some bales of hay (Home Depot for the win!), pumpkins and gourds, leaves, and of course an adorable cake. I grabbed all of these items to make her fall themed cake smash happen in the studio. But not before first meeting at a local park for some family portraits. Grandma was in town so we took advantage and captured a shot or two with her.

After our portraits in the park, we headed back to the studio for cake! Such a lovely cake covered in frosting leaves. Baby E went for it, loving the very tempting pumpkins on top of the cake 🙂
