Early this past summer I had the distinct pleasure of photographing a dear friend’s son’s 1st birthday cake smash. That is special enough for me. But to be able to photograph his cake smash in New Hampshire, on Lake Winnipesaukee, where this baby boys Mama and I met as kids made it extra super special. We have lots of memories as kids and teenagers from summers at the lake and now our kids (wow, I feel old!) will be able to do the same.
This family lives in Rhode Island and spends a lot of time near the ocean or near the lake in NH. A nautical theme seemed only fitting 🙂 When mama put him in a seer sucker suit I nearly passed out. Absolutely love the styling of this cake smash, love the baby boy and love the setting on the lake. Baby H was hysterical smashing his cake and I’d say he enjoyed himself!
