Last year was a great year for outdoor photos! I met this family for the first time on a rather chilly morning last fall. We met at the Boston Public Garden. This child was a trooper for her portraits! Jacket on, jacket off, over here, over there. One of my favorite children’s portrait of all time was from this session. Scroll down and you’ll see the photo where she is standing on a gigantic weeping willow tree, looking down. As a child I loved weeping willows. They are so pretty in the wind and backlit, as the tree was here, is just icing on the cake!
