Somerville Newborn Photography :: Newborn with Dog

If you follow my blog closely (and clearly it rivals the New York Times for amazing content so you obviously do), then you have already made the acquaintance of an adorable newborn baby boy yesterday. The very same afternoon that I photographed him, I met up with this little lady, her adorable pup and her loving parents. The baby boy I photographed early had been born on St. Patrick’s Day. This little lady was also born on St. Patrick’s Day. Their connection does not end there. It turns out their Moms are colleagues. They hadn’t discussed their choice of newborn photographer beforehand (although I encourage everyone to 🙂 so it truly is a small world!

I loved this session. Somerville baby girl has an adorable older “sibling” dog and we got some fantastic newborn with dog shots. In the first photo below, I got to incorporate a piece of lace that my great grandmother had crocheted on top of a bit of green in a nod to her birth date.
