New Baby Photography :: Miss A
This sweet little lady was in my studio for her newborn portraits. She was so sweet and sleepy during her portraits. We were able to get a few different poses from her and she rocked them all! I even managed to capture a few teeny tiny little newborn smirks! These are always so much fun to capture. Definitely makes you wonder what these little ones are dreaming about.
I actually just saw her again recently for a mini session to capture baby girl at 10 months old. We also took advantage of the weather and did a full family shoot outdoors. I’ll be seeing the whole family again for her 1st year portraits soon!
Styling Choices For This Session
For Miss A’s newborn portraits, the main color used was pink. The great thing about the color pink is it is so versatile and I’m able to incorporate it in a few different ways. For the family portraits, Miss A was wrapped in a pink swaddle. This looked great with mom and dad in white shirts. The white was incorporated into her “outfit” thanks to a white headband.
One of my favorite props is this floral wreath basket. It’s so pretty and adds the perfect whimsical touch to a photograph. The white fur adds a great textural touch to the shot. Texture is one of my favorite ways to add interest in a photo.
Accessories can make all the difference in a newborn session. I love the way the white headband looks in the “naked baby” shot down below. Adding a touch of elegance to the classic and simple shot.
And last, but definitely not least, Miss A got full glam while tucked into the little wooden bed. There is something so princess fairytale about this shot! She could definitely be a new and improved Sleeping Beauty!
