This family came to my studio from Dracut MA for baby boy’s newborn photos. Baby boy two for this Dracut family! I got to photograph this little newborn’s older brother a couple of year’s previous. In classic fashion, this session is now over a year old 🙂 Apparently my newborn sessions, and all sessions for that matter, need a little marinating time before they hit the ‘ole blog. But who can resist photos of this adorable little newborn man!? The newborn black and white portrait of baby boy D in his Daddy’s hands kills me. He is so small. So precious! And growing, growing, growing!

Styling Choices for these Dracut Newborn Photos
For these photos, it’s all about baby. Whether he was snuggled in a basket full of fur, or with his tush in the air. And the colors were all neutral with pops of blues. This makes for great, timeless photos. And regardless what color you would like for your “pop” I have you covered. My collection of newborn accessories, wraps, and swaddles is what some might call: over the top. But I do it for you guys! (And somewhat for myself because they are slightly addicting.)
My extensive collection means that parents definitely don’t need to buy anything for their newborn photo session! However, if you have a specific theme or idea in mind, or just want fun accessories for yourself (I don’t judge), I always recommend Etsy as a first stop. Whether you buy your products there, or just get an idea of what you want, Etsy is great.

After your newborn portrait session, it’s time to decide what to do with your photos. And this might seem somewhat overwhelming but we are here to help! This means we sit down, look at your photos together projected on the wall for the first time. Once you’ve decided which photos you would like to display on your walls, I’m able to create a mock up for you using photos of your own home to show you how your photos will look.
