Dracut, MA Baby Photographer :: Mr. D
This little guy came to my studio from Dracut for his newborn baby photos. He was such a great little sleeper, which made my job a little easier. The great thing about tiny babies is that while they’re sleeping, they can easily be posed for newborn photos. So many of these poses have become classic newborn poses, and for good reason. Newborns naturally curl into little balls, which is obviously beyond adorable and reminiscent of their stay in the womb. The black and white photo below of Mr. D curled up and naked on his belly is one of those poses. A sleeping newborn also makes it much easier to get the little detail shots. Newborns have the best little fingers, lips and eyelashes. And babies stay tiny for such a short time, it’s so important to have these little reminders.

Dracut Newborn Baby Photography Style Choices: Gray
I love being a Dracut area newborn, baby and family portrait photographer. And one of my favorite aspects is styling. For this particular newborn session, the main color used is gray. Gray is so hot right now! Gray is a perfect choice for newborn sessions because it’s a great neutral that also works well on its own. There is something both dramatic and gentle about the color gray. The pop of white that comes from a knit hat, or orange from a little pumpkin is the perfect way to add a little contrast to an otherwise all gray session. This session is clean and simple, and proves that sometimes in newborn photos, less is more.
