6 Month Old Miss H’s Baby Photos :: Salem MA Photographer
Sweet Miss H came to my studio from nearby Salem MA for her 6 month baby photos. And when I say this little girl was smiley I mean she was SMILEY! I could not get enough of her giggling and smiling. Six months is such a fun age for so many reasons. And one of the top reasons is because of how responsive they can be. It really is crazy to see how much a baby can grow and change over the course of a year. But these milestone baby sessions are a great reminder. The difference between newborn and three months is a huge leap. And then there is a huge change again between three months and 6 months! These sessions are called sitter sessions because they are less about a specific age and more about the milestone of being able to sit on their own. And once a baby can sit safely on their own there are so many fun things we can do. Like this super adorable star shaped box that Miss H is sitting in. Keep scrolling to see even more fun props!

Styling Ideas for 6 Month Pictures
When it comes to six month photos, another fun aspect is the styling options. For newborn sessions babies tend to just be swaddled. Which means that the next few milestone sessions are the first time that parents can really get creative with styling. Some babies don’t do well with numerous costume changes during a session. This little lady stayed smiling despite the costume changes–she’s a natural model! I love every single outfit Miss H wore during the session. And this is a great example of how you can bridge the gap between neutral, simple styling and adding pops of color. The rainbow overalls outfit she’s wearing in a few of these photos is beyond adorable. But so are the more neutral options like the knit rompers. And the colorful sweater? Obsessed! We also grabbed some holiday photos since this session took place in November. Tis the season!
