Sweet Miss E and her family came to my studio from Wilmington MA for her newborn photography session. I first met this Wilmington family for a family maternity session outdoors at a local park. Big sister is only a toddler and totally rocked it for that session. Well, she did the same for her baby sister’s newborn photography portraits! These two girls are naturals and will be breaking hearts one day with their smiles.

I love including big siblings in newborn portraits. Sometimes parents worry that their toddlers will be too wild, or will cause too much stress. But my assistants and I are ready for anything–and chances are, we’ve seen it all before. My goal is for every session, especially newborn photo sessions, to be as relaxing and stress-free as possible. Dad is military so we were sure to include some Dad and new baby photographs where he is wearing his uniform during this Wilmington baby photography session. There is a really sweet portrait of newborn baby girl E in a “welcome aboard” life float. This photo was an ode to big sister’s session. I love the blues and gold star headband she has on in her Wilmington newborn photos. Check out E’s photos below as well as her snuggly sibling portraits and family portraits. I definitely had some fun with flowers during baby girl’s Wilmington newborn baby portrait photography session. I absolutely love the pops of deep purple. This wooden bed and arbor with purple flowers is one of my favorite props, I definitely don’t use it enough! And the pink floral wreath is perfect for a sleeping baby. She looks like a little fairy!
