Well we are in to our first week of September. Are the kids back to school? Now that I have preschoolers I finally understand why back to school can sometimes be an amazing thing! As much as I loved our extended weekends this summer and all the time I got to spend with my lady babies … well, I should just leave it at that. “I loved our extended weekends this summer and all the time I got to spend with my lady babies!”
It may not officially be fall but it might be time to start thinking about your holiday card photos. Especially if you love these photos with Santa as much as I do! The little dude in green below is my step-nephew and absolutely blew my mind with his performance. He may have been a little bit nervous as first but he really warmed up to Santa! This is evidenced by the photo on the left (there may be a photo or two that shows his distrust, lol).
The photo on the right is truly one of those “decisive moments” photos. It wasn’t planned, and both baby boy and Santa’s gestures were over as soon as and as fast as I clicked the shutter. Magic!

I loved seeing these two interact with and warm up to Santa. Baby girl was a bit timid, but it wasn’t anything a chocolate chip cookie couldn’t take care of!
