Maternity Portraits :: Salem NH

This mama and daddy came to my studio from nearby Salem NH for mama’s maternity portraits. When it comes to being a Salem NH area maternity photographer, the number one most important thing is to make the soon to be Mama feel beautiful and comfortable. Her beauty will more easily shine through in her portraits. Pregnancy is such an amazing time, and I love being able to help celebrate this. Pregnancy means endless possibilities ahead, and all of that is encompassed in that adorable baby bump!

For this gorgeous mama, it was all about showcasing her pregnancy glow and that baby bump. A few wardrobe changes helped to accomplish this. I love the choice of rich, deep green and purple dresses. This is a perfect example of how maternity doesn’t always have to mean pastels.

Displaying Your Salem NH area Maternity Portraits at home

After your session, it’s time to choose what to do with your maternity portraits. For some clients, this means custom albums. For other clients this can mean prints and products to give as gifts. And then there is the option of artwork. When it comes to artwork, there are other decisions to make as well. Do you prefer framed art or canvases? To help you decide between those options, I can create a custom wall art mock-up. First you send me a photo of the wall you want to decorate, and then I digitally add your portraits to your wall. No more wondering how your photos will look before you buy them. Now you can see how they look before purchasing.

Another tip: think outside of the box when it comes to displaying your artwork. I love the idea of hanging maternity photos inside master bathrooms or walk in closets.
