Pink and Gold Cake Smash MA :: Miss C

Miss C came to my studio with her family to celebrate turning one! This milestone is always fun, but for Miss C it was a little extra fun. Not only is she the big O-N-E, but she’s a big sister now too! I had just seen her a couple of months previous for newborn portraits of her baby brother. Check out the portrait below of the birthday girl and her family.

About this Session

Pink and gold is a classic combination, and it works perfectly for cake smash sessions. Some pink, white, and gold balloons are all it takes to make a pretty backdrop for this little lady and her pink cake. And of course a sparkly party hat and a tutu don’t hurt either. Before it’s time to take the fun (but messy) cake smash pictures, it’s important to get some equally fun but much cleaner portraits of the birthday girl. She gave me plenty of smiles while she played with the wooden blocks spelling out her new age. And the only thing that can make a birthday session a little more special: a glittery magic wand!
