It’s finally actually beginning to look slightly, just a little bit, like Christmas. I had my holiday mini sessions recently. Although I am technically preparing for the holidays in my studio as early as August, it doesn’t get real until those mini sessions. Well, it doesn’t get real until I have hit Home Goods and made a dent in their holiday inventory 🙂

My love of holiday portraits and my love of newborn portraits can finally meet up in the fall and early December. I am a firm believer that capturing timeless portraits of your baby is my first priority. Portraits without season and without a trends are my goal. Buuuuuttt, once we get those, all bets are off! Let’s get the cute holiday portraits because they are just so fun.

Miss A was a super star. Besides the holiday photos, her mama wanted to capture a nautical themed photo. I grabbed my trusty boat prop and we made that happen for her. We were also sure to capture a new Mom and new baby portrait. Because I’m a sucker for those 🙂
