Maternity

Maternity Photography by Crabapple Photography

The only time that seems to slip by faster than your baby’s first year of life might be the pregnancy itself. I am even more in awe and wonder of what the human body can accomplish, now that I am several years removed from my own twin pregnancy.  Whether this is your first pregnancy or fifth, this is definitely a milestone in your life to capture as it becomes a distant memory with time. Click here to read the top reasons I’ve put together to make sure you capture this moment. Not just for you, but for your baby also.

I generally suggest maternity portraits be taken during the 32nd to 36th week range. This way you have a nice full, round belly but a few weeks away from the big day.

At my north of Boston area studio I have a variety of beautiful maternity gowns to help preserve the beauty of your pregnancy in portraits. I am also happy to choose an outdoor location. Partners as well as older siblings are always encouraged to participate. Your baby will one day look back at how much his or her arrival was anticipated. And that is cool!
