Increasingly, newborn babies in the three to four week old range have become some of my best little sleepers. I’m not sure exactly what it is, every baby is different. One theory I have is that as they grow they are able to hold more food in their little bellies and sleep a bit better. Of course, this age can also coincide with some fierce baby acne, but not in this baby girl’s case!

This one month old newborn from Brookline, Mass came a bit early and was a preemie. Gestational age can have a lot to do with a contented and deep sleeping baby. She wasn’t psyched to be naked on her belly but she was happier than happy to be wrapped up though! So we rolled with it and got some really heart warming sibling shots as well as some of my favorite Mama and her girls portraits. I also took the opportunity to get some updated portraits of older sister as well as some Christmas themed newborn sibling portraits for the old Christmas card.
