It is hard to believe this baby boy turned one over a year ago! It was a blast to visit with his super nice parents again and see how much baby I had grown. Now that I have my own two lady babies, the speed at which the first year passes has become even more obvious to me. There is so much change and growth over a baby’s first year, it’s truly amazing to watch. I count myself lucky to be a part of so many family’s journeys through their children’s first year and beyond. On this day, we captured some great smiles from one year old baby I as well as family portraits and of course … the big one year cake smash! When I first started photographing babies, not too many photographers were offering the cake smash portraits as an option. Now it’s almost a rite of passage it seems! I’ve included a couple of adorable nautical themed photos of baby I having at his first cake, so much fun!
