This little guy was 3 weeks old when he came to visit Crabapple Studios for his baby portraits. He has two very creative, very cool parents. It’s not everyday I meet people who were former opera singers! They met through their love of opera, working on a production of Don Giovanni together. Naturally, this had to be incorporated into their baby’s newborn portrait session. Check out baby boy E below, sleeping under the sheet music of Beautiful Dreamer. And that he is indeed!
Most newborns I photograph are under 10 days old. This is because after the first 10 days or so, it can be difficult to get the baby to fall into that deep sleep that is needed for the adorable newborn poses. Baby E however, was definitely a Beautiful Dreamer for part of the session, allowing us to get these shots:
