As you may well know by now, taking newborn baby portraits ranks up there as one of my all time favorite ways to pass the time. Tiny newborn toes, tiny newborn fingers, hands, legs, arms, eyes, noses and mouths! A-dorable. Although LG and I are not yet parents, I can only imagine that the sleepless nights and the overall stress of having a newborn is far outweighed by how adorable they are when they are sleeping. Little baby girl Olivia was no exception. She came a little late into this world back in December. After the winter we had, I really don’t blame her!
Although a lot of my newborn photo sessions do take place at my photo studio in Medford, MA, it is certainly not required. Olivia’s parents opted to have me go to their Boston home for these shots. With a little help from Olivia’s Mom, Dad and Grandparents (and the sound of a lot of running water), she drifted off to sleep for us just long enough to get some really fantastic shots. Here she is giving us an adorable yawn:
