Congratulations to Mackenzie’s Mom, Dad + extended family!
At the beginning of October, I was lucky to meet this gorgeous little princess and her fantastic welcoming parents. Newborn baby Mackenzie was not psyched at first to see me at her home in Boston. I was lugging all sorts of equipment and props and I’m pretty sure she just wanted some alone time with Mom + Dad. But laying on a warm fuzzy blanket with Dad was all she needed and she was happy as a clam! I love newborn photography, and I love even more watching these tiny little people grow up. I hope to one day again see Mackenzie again on the other side of my lens.

I like the squishy face shot too! I imagine she’s telegraphing the following: “Hey, Camera Lady, I got some sleeping to do here, so get the flash outta my face.”
There wasn’t a bad “apple” in the whole “bunch” of pictures you took of Mackenzie! We’d be hard pressed to pick out a single favorite. And we are not just prejudiced because we’re her grandparents…
