Baby Bump Photos with Puppy in North Shore MA

I love meeting couples for their maternity session. It gives me an opportunity to really get to know and chat with them before baby arrives. This North Shore, MA couple came to my studio for their baby bump photos and brought along their first baby… their puppy! He was a perfect little model, I have to say! I am happy to report that I have since met the little baby boy who mama is pregnant with in this belly portraits. He is a little love bug! Stay tuned for photos of the baby boy 🙂

Including Pets In Your Photo Session

Whether it’s a maternity session, a newborn session, or any other family or milestone session, dogs are always welcome. In fact, dogs AND cats are always welcome. So far I’ve only had one cat in the studio but it was (somewhat surprisingly) a success! I’m a big believer that pets are definitely a part of the family. And as such, they should be included in the family photos. I do ask that your pup be trained, since I have myself and other employees to think about. But as long as they’re good around strangers and in new places, bring them along!

Displaying Your Maternity Portraits

I love every session that I photograph, but maternity sessions definitely hold a special place in my heart. And I’m a big believer in showing off those belly photos! As a mom, I know how difficult those nine months can be. But I also know how amazing and wonderful the entire process is. Sure, it might not seem it at the time. But when you have your little baby in your arms, it changes how you think of pregnancy. Which is why I say show off your belly!

I especially love the idea of using maternity photos in the nursery. Whether you know the name of your baby and use blocks or another prop to spell out the name in one of your baby bump photos. Or if you have a specific decor item that’s meaningful and you know you’ll use in the nursery. Or you can use blocks to simply spell baby like the mama in this session did. Either way, these photos make perfect nursery decor. And I can help you choose the best size and product for your space.
