Miss I :: Andover One Year Portraits and Cake Smash
This adorable little lady and her parents came to my Andover studio for her one year portraits and cake smash session. There are some words that go perfectly with a cake smash portrait session: balloons, tutus, and glitter, for example. And this little lady had all of that and more for hers! Pink and gold is such a classic color scheme and is always good for a festive cake smash.

About this Andover Cake Smash Session
Before the fun (a.k.a messy) part, I always get some pre-cake portraits. For little Miss I, we had a costume change partway through. We started with pure white which makes for a timeless portrait. There is something gorgeous in the simplicity. For beautiful and timeless children’s clothing I always recommend Janie and Jack, Boden, or Bella Bliss.
But we also wanted a little fun, so in came this floral romper with matching headband. Costume changes are a great way to capture every aspect of the little one’s personality. And one last thought: can we talk about her eyes? Seriously amazing!
